FAQ / Frequency-asked Questions
Q. Is MC-55 indelible ink acid-free?
A. Yes, it is. "Acid-free" ink is ideal for archival storage, also it won't deteriorate the material quality.

Q. Does MC-55 indelible ink contain any hazardous substances, such as hormaldehyde / HCHO, heavy metals, phthalate ester?
A. No, not at all.

Q. How long is the quality guarantee period of MC-series valid?
A. The quality guarantee is for 3 years from the original date of purchase under normal storage and use. During the period the ink won't separate. (*It's originally designed to be used for 5 years under normal stock and usage conditions.)

Q. How soon will the ink dry after stamping?
A. It may dry in 3-5 minutes under normal heat circumstances when stamped on non-porous surfaces: glasses, ceramics, coated surfaces.

Q. Would it possible for me to enhance quick-drying performance?
A. Yes, it would be technically viable but not recommended. Because the increased ink will also dry up on the stamp pad faster, it's necessary to replace more frequently. It's uneconomical. In addition, the ink will be higher flammable and may be designated as dangerous materials. It will lead distributional problem.

Q. May the ink stand high heat on the secondary processing?
A. That depends. When the ink is placed under high heat over 130 degrees Celsius, a part of ink may dissolve and the heat stability may be lowered.

Q. Would it possible for me to use MC-series indelible ink on absorbing stamp?
A. Yes, you can use it available in all colors, except for white, provided that adequate solvent resistance and air-tightness is secured.
